New Yorker's/Trump Light Rockefeller Tree-Fume Over Mess Created By Obama's Fund-Raiser.

Trump "Lights Up" Obama over fund-raising mess during Christmas Tree-Lighting Ceremony !!!

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg helped light the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. The 74-foot-tall Norway spruce was illuminated by 30,000 lights during a ceremony Wednesday night.

Traffic on Sixth Ave in Manhattan on a gridlock day, where the Rockefeller Center tree is lit and the President is in town.
New Yorkers are in for the mother of all traffic nightmares Wednesday night, when the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree-lighting coincides with a Barack Obama fundraiser just a few blocks away. The double-booking has drawn criticism from area business leaders, Republican Party officials and now business mogul Donald Trump, who attacked the president’s decision in a YouTube video on Tuesday.

The video, titled “Inconsiderate Obama,” is one of more than fifty brief spots that show Trump pontificating from his desk chair.

“We have a problem,” Trump said in the short video. “We have a president that doesn’t give a damn about inconveniencing people. And I want to talk about inconvenience. You will never see a mess like this tomorrow night. President Obama is holding a fundraiser, another of his fundraisers, hundreds of them. Every day he’s holding fundraisers. He doesn’t govern, all he does is raise money so he can try and get reelected, so he can put the country further in the hole. So he’s having a fundraiser right near Rockefeller Center, where thousands of people are coming to see the tree light up. Isn’t that a shame?”

Trump went on to describe the possible scene Wednesday night as the president’s parties collide with the illumination of a 74-foot Norway spruce and performances by Justin Beiber, Cee Lo Green and Tony Bennett.

“The streets are going to be closed — everything’s going to be closed because of his security. Let me tell you, this president is a much different person than people know. He’s a very inconsiderate guy.”

“Stop with the fundraisers and start running the country,” Trump added, addressing Obama directly, “because you’re doing one hell of a lousy job.”

The president will attend a fundraiser on Wednesday hosted by New York City gay and lesbian organizations, and then attend a reception for his early supporters.

Mitt Romney struggles to find a strategy to combat Newt Gingrich’s surge

By Philip Rucker and Peter Wallsten, Published: November 30

All along, everything has gone according to Mitt Romney’s plan. His strategists didn’t believe that Tim Pawlenty would catch on. They were confident that Michele Bachmann would fade. They were prepared for Rick Perry. They never thought Herman Cain would pass the commander in chief test.

But they didn’t count on a late and strong rise by Newt Gingrich.

Once left for dead, the former House speaker has suddenly emerged as Romney’s most durable opponent yet — in part because he has performed well in the debates and, unlike the others, he is viewed by many in the Republican Party as a plausible president.

For this unexpected turn in what has been a steady and sure campaign, the Romney team has no road map. With just five weeks until the Iowa caucuses, the former Massachusetts governor and his advisers are trying to figure out what to do. Will they stick to their tried-and-true playbook and hope Gingrich falls on his own, just like the others? Or will Romney engage Gingrich directly and aggressively, either through ads or in a pair of upcoming debates?

“Is there enough time for Gingrich to self-destruct on his own before Jan. 3, or do you have to help it along? It’s a tough call,” said a GOP strategist who informally advises Romney’s campaign and, like other advisers interviewed, spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal thinking.

Romney’s strategists are gaming out scenarios. They say they understand the risk that, in a multi-candidate field, any attack they make against Gingrich could boomerang to hurt Romney and help a third candidate.

Taking on Gingrich is “going to be a process,” one adviser said. “It’s not going to be an overnight kind of a thing, unless he steps in it. But he seems less likely than the others to do that.”

At a time when Romney intended to be showing momentum and closing the deal with voters, his campaign has sometimes been on the defensive. The candidate appeared rattled in a Fox News interview Tuesday when he was pressed by host Bret Baier to explain his changing positions on some issues.

“Bret, I don’t know how many hundred times I’ve said this, too. This is an unusual interview,” a visibly agitated Romney said, as he wiggled in his seat, crossed his legs and forced a laugh. “Ha, ha, ha, ha. Let’s do it again.”

In that same interview, Romney hinted that he now sees Gingrich as a threat. Prompted by Baier, he launched his first attack on his rival, labeling Gingrich “a lifelong politician” and suggesting that he lacks credibility on the economy.

The informal Romney adviser said he recently urged top campaign aides to take a more aggressive posture, telling them: “You’ve got to get out and fight for it. The shot’s been fired, and you’ve got to go.”

A campaign spokeswoman declined to comment.

Across the country, many of Romney’s donors and political supporters said there is no sense of panic over Gingrich. Romney’s network takes comfort in the great financial and organizational advantages that he has amassed to help him survive a potentially grueling nomination fight.

“Newt’s having his moment, but I think it’s nothing more than that,” said New York Jets owner Woody Johnson, Romney’s national finance co-chairman, who added that he knows and respects Gingrich.

Johnson said he is confident in Romney’s strategy and has been impressed by his performance. “Romney has been very restrained and focused really on Obama and the task at hand rather than the other candidates,” he said.

Florida state Sen. John Thrasher, a member of Romney’s advisory committee, said he also feels confident in the candidate’s structural advantages, but he thinks the campaign needs to respond to Gingrich’s rise with vigor.

“There’s going to be some need to explain his positions,” Thrasher said, noting that Gingrich’s past views on global warming “won’t sit well with the base.”

This is a pivotal time for Romney, whose campaign has projected a sense of inevitability even as he has struggled to build on his support. Now begins an intense period of testing for the candidate, who will have to win over some skeptical voters if Gingrich succeeds in consolidating support as the conservative alternative in an ostensible two-man race.

“His chief opponent is now known,” said GOP strategist Steve Schmidt, who managed the campaign of 2008 nominee John McCain. “And his chief opponent is an extremely gifted communicator who’s rising on the basis of his incredibly strong debate performances, who has become legitimized as an aspirant for president of the United States.”

Adding to Romney’s challenge are the attacks from President Obama’s campaign and the Democratic Party, attacks designed in part to sow doubts about Romney’s consistency and conservatism among GOP primary voters.

“There’s an impact from that. That’s why we’re concerned, that’s why we’re responding and we’re doing a counteroffensive,” said Ohio state Rep. Jay Hottinger, one of Romney’s top surrogates there, who is representing Romney in a televised debate Thursday against former Ohio governor Ted Strickland, an Obama surrogate.

Hottinger said he is encouraged by Romney’s solid core support in state and national polls, but he added that “from a discouraging standpoint, he just doesn’t seem able to catch on with a certain element within the party.”

On the campaign trail in recent weeks, Romney has picked up a parade of endorsements from prominent office-holders in the early-voting states. But his campaign has struggled to show enthusiasm. While Gingrich has been drawing boisterous, overflowing crowds, Romney’s events in Miami and Tampa on Tuesday drew smaller and more subdued audiences.

Do the Math -- Gingrich Is Now the GOP Front Runner

If you see a white screen below, ignore it, and just click play !!!

There is a new front runner in the Republican nomination for president, one who has frankly not been recognized as a front runner, given the nature of the media and the reporting on the contrast. That front runner is Newt Gingrich, who in the new Iowa Insider Advantage poll has a 15% lead over Mitt Romney. That lead, which is well beyond the margin of error, suggests that he is now in a commanding position in Iowa, which could well lead to a victory of the size and scope that Mike Huckabee won four years ago.

But beyond that, Gingrich is 28 points ahead in South Carolina, the third primary, which would be a landslide victory for the former Georgia Congressman should the numbers hold up.

With New Hampshire now within 10 points, and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney running ahead of Gingrich only here, there is every reason to believe that the combination of the Manchester Union Leader's endorsement, and the former Speaker's now likely victory in Iowa will tighten the race even more in the Granite state.

Further, given the newly released Florida numbers, which show Gingrich with a commanding 24 point lead over Mitt Romney, there is every reason to believe that the race has swung decisively in the direction of the former Speaker. The former Speaker is benefitting not only from superlative debate performances, but also from the decline and perhaps fall of Herman Cain. Polls show that the former Cain voters are breaking by at least 2 to 1, and in some cases 3 to 1, for former speaker Gingrich.

Put another way, if Gingrich wins Iowa, is very competitive in New Hampshire, and wins South Carolina and Florida in landslides, the race will effectively be over.

Praying for a Speedy Recovery !!! Evangelist Billy Graham Admitted to North Carolina Hospital

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The Rev. Billy Graham was admitted to a hospital Wednesday near his home in western North Carolina to be tested for pneumonia after suffering from congestion, a cough and a slight fever, his spokesman said.

The 93-year-old evangelist was taken to Mission Hospital in Asheville, spokesman A. Larry Ross said. His personal physician, Dr. Lucian Rice, said he was in stable condition.

A news release issued by the hospital said Graham was alert, smiling and waving to staff as he entered the hospital. Ross said Graham was admitted for observation and treatment and likely would spend the night there.

For six decades, Graham led a worldwide crusade-based ministry that packed stadiums with believers and allowed him to counsel every U.S. president since Harry Truman. His most recent book, "Nearing Home," was published last month.

In recent years, age-related conditions such as macular degeneration and hearing loss have kept Graham at his home in Montreat, about 20 miles east of Asheville.

He was last hospitalized in May, when he spent five days at the same hospital for pneumonia. In October 2008, Graham was hospitalized after he tripped and fell over one of his dogs. Earlier that same year, he had elective surgery on a shunt that controls excess fluid on his brain. The shunt was first installed in 2000 and drains fluid through a small tube, relieving excess pressure that can cause symptoms similar to Parkinson's disease.

Obama the Tax Cutter, No Really; He Calls Himself That--Watch !!!

"I know you hear a lot of folks on cable TV claiming that I am this 'big tax and spend liberal.' Next time you hear that, you just remind the people who are saying it that since I've taken office, I've cut your taxes. Bank van loses cash bags on Pa. highway; more than $100,000 blown away, grabbed by motorists

UPPER ST. CLAIR, Pa. (AP) -- A bank courier van has spilled more than $100,000 in cash along a Pennsylvania highway, and motorists have stopped to grab it.

Police say much of the money was blown around by the wind. Lt. James Englert says "well into six figures" in cash is missing after the money grab in Upper St. Clair, just southwest of Pittsburgh.

Police are investigating why the door of the Fidelity Courier Service van opened. But they say the fact the door opened doesn't mean the money was free. They say taking it is theft.

Anyone who took money has a two-week grace period to return it without fear of prosecution.

The courier company is offering a reward for the return of the money.

Dramatic New Video Of Occupy Houston Shooting !!!

LiveLeak:
New Video Of Occupy Houston Shooting

The video hadn’t been shown to the public until now. Eyewitnesses started shooting video of it all when they first saw the man walking around, firing the gun at the downtown Houston park last week.

One eyewitness was able to capture the event on camera until the very end, when police took the gunman down with several shots before any innocent bystanders were hit.

Dressed in a black suit and smoking a cigarette, a 21-year-old begins firing an assault weapon in a downtown park. As several eyewitness try to warn others, David Loeser reaches for his camera. Loeser, interested in the nearby Occupy movement, was talking with friends when Joshua Anthony Twohig began firing a .40-caliber-assault-rifle in Tranquility Park.

“When he walked onto the bridge and shot the first shots in the water, I was just in minorshock and was like, ‘Oh I got my camera!’” Loeser.

Twohig paces back and forth on a pedestrian bridge; at times, he even put the rifle to his head. As police arrive on scene however, Twohig refuses to drop the rifle and he’s taken down by several shots.

Twohig was rushed to a hospital for several gun shot wounds. Eyewitness News has since learned Twohig is married with a one-year-old child.

Neighbors say he recently lost his job and his wife underwent major surgery.

However, Loeser says it’s was a miracle that between Twohig and police firing several rounds, no innocent bystanders were injured.

“It’s just totally just incredible that the only person that got injured was himself,” Loeser said.

Twohig is still hospitalized in fair condition.

In the meantime, police have not given a motive for the shooting, as it remains under investigation.

Biden reveals corrupt Corzine key to Obama fiscal policy

Video of Joe Biden surfaced in which the Vice President is singling out former NJ Governor John Corzine as a key contributor to the Obama fiscal policies we are seeing now. That would explain a lot, considering Corzine’s bankrupt company MF Global can’t seem to find $1.2 billion of investor money. It just vanished – just like the success of the stimulus package.
“When they were trying to figure out what to do with the economy, they called the smartest guy they know. They called the guy who lost $1.2 billion, Jon Corzine!” Glenn joked.

“So he helped design the stimulus package. Which we’re not really sure where all that money went,” Glenn said.

Wow, wonder if Biden is regretting this today !!!

McDonald’s Outsmarts San Francisco on Happy Meal Ban

By Allahpundit, Hot Air

Remember when San Fran “banned” Happy Meals by requiring fruit and vegetables to be served with any meal that includes a toy? Question: What if the meal doesn’t automatically include the toy? What if the toy’s “optional,” purchasable with a Happy Meal plus a small additional fee that you’ll be happy to pay just to shut up that screaming brat who wants the toy, mom, c’monnnnn?

I can’t shake the feeling that government intrusion produces higher costs, less choice, and inefficiency.

Come Dec. 1, you can still buy the Happy Meal. But it doesn’t come with a toy. For that, you’ll have to pay an extra 10 cents.

Huh. That hardly seems to have solved the problem (though adults and children purchasing unhealthy food can at least take solace that the 10 cents is going to Ronald McDonald House charities). But it actually gets worse from here. Thanks to Supervisor Eric Mar’s much-ballyhooed new law, parents browbeaten into supplementing their preteens’ Happy Meal toy collections are now mandated to buy the Happy Meals.READ MORE AT HOTAIR.COM

Therapist 'Brainwashed' woman into believing she had multiple personalities, participated in satanic rituals

A psychologist accused of hypnotizing a woman into believing she possessed multiple personalities and participated in satanic rituals may be sued by several others who say they were also told they had been a part of a satanic cult, according to a Missouri attorney.

Lisa Nasseff, 41, of Saint Paul, Minn., is suing her former therapist,Mark Schwartz, and the Castlewood Treatment Center in St. Louis, Mo., where she received 15 months of treatment for anorexia, according to the complaint.

Instead of improving, the lawsuit alleges Nasseff suffered "great physical pain and suffering and anguish" during her time at the facility, and asserts that she will continue to suffer.

"She was hospitalized multiple times," Nasseff's lawyer, Kenneth Vuylsteke, told ABCNews.com. "One time she tried to commit suicide … she's done much better now that she's been away from there."

The complaint alleges Nasseff's therapist, Mark Schwartz, "carelessly and negligently hypnotized [Nasseff]" while she was under the influence of "various psychotropic medications" to treat depression and anxiety. The hypnosis allegedly created false memories, including the belief that she was "a member of a satanic cult and that she was involved in or perpetrated various criminal and horrific acts of abuse."

One of those acts included "sacrificing her sister's baby on the altar of Satan," according to Vuylsteke.

Nasseff "was in a highly vulnerable physical and mental state due to her pre-existing eating disorder," according to the complaint.

The lawsuit also alleges Schwartz "persuaded and convinced [Nasseff] to become increasingly isolated from her family and friends by leading her to believe said persons were involved in a satanic cult and that they had been and would continue to sexually abuse her and force her to engage in criminal acts and horrific abuse of others."

But then other women receiving treatment at the facility began to realize their stories were very similar to one another's, Vuylsteke said.

"She got together with other women who had been through this with her at Castlewood. And they said, 'How can we all have been members of cults and not know it -- two years ago, three years ago? We all got brainwashed? It can't be right."

Now "multiple individuals" are speaking out about Castlewood, and backing Nasseff's account of what took place there, Vuylsteke added.

"We've got other cases we're looking at right now," Vuylsteke told ABCNews.com, adding the alleged victims' stories, all involving women, look "remarkably similar."

At this stage, he declined to say exactly how many women are claiming false memory implantation.

"All I can tell you is it's several. We're in the process of evaluating them right now," he said.

Schwartz, the therapist who treated Nasseff at Castlewood and still serves as the facility's clinical co-director, denied ever hypnotizing Nasseff.

"We don't use hypnosis," said Schwartz, who told ABCNews.com he has not yet retained a lawyer. "It's usually exposure therapy where the person is exposed to the memories of their trauma in various ways in order to move beyond it … A person is avoiding the memories and the feelings [associated with those memories] so you have them begin to talk about it in a safe way, that's not re-victimizing."

He also said he had never discussed satanic cults with Nasseff, and she had never told him she committed any criminal acts.

"I don't know anything about all that," he said.

He did confirm she had been given anti-depressants and that they had discussed "sexual trauma," but "the details I don't even remember."

"She reported abuse history, we dealt with it, she got a lot better, and now she's suing us," he said.

"Emotionally it hurts. You give everything you have to these clients and you really care about them. When they file a lawsuit it really stings."

On the Castlewood website, it states the treatment center's staff specializes in several areas, including hypnosis.

Castlewood Treatment Center did not respond to an interview request from ABCNews.com, but the executive director of the facility, Nancy Albers, told Courthouse News Service, "We strongly believe that all of these claims are without merit and we intend to defend these claims vigorously."

States failing to stop child sex trade. Study gives failing grades to Md., Va.

An international group seeking to stop trafficking of children for sex gave failing grades to half the states, including Maryland and Virginia, along with the District, for failing to pass laws that provide protection and justice to the victims of domestic sex trafficking.

The failing grades are outlined in a study to be released Thursday by Shared Hope International (SHI), a Vancouver, Wash., group whose mission is to rescue and restore women and children in crisis. The study is based on an analysis of existing state laws considered essential to combating child sex trafficking.

“Each state’s laws show omissions in protective provisions for child victims, and lack strong laws to prosecute the men who rent the bodies of other men’s children,” said Linda Smith, a former Republican congresswoman from Washington state who founded SHI and now serves as its president.

Virginia ranked 47th in the report largely because it is one of four states without a stand-alone human trafficking law and 1 of 10 without a sex trafficking law, according to Samantha Vardaman, SHI’s senior director.

“Without those laws, Virginia is failing to define the crime,” she said.

Ms. Vardaman said that while Virginia prosecutors can charge child sex traffickers under the state’s abduction law, such cases require a showing of force or intimidation. She said Virginia also needs to toughen its laws on prosecuting the customers of child sex trafficking.

She said both Maryland and the District have good laws but still need to improve. Maryland ranked 26th on the list and the District ranked 29th. She praised Maryland authorities for being aggressive in prosecuting child sex trafficking cases but said the state needs to toughen its asset forfeiture laws so traffickers do not “walk away with all the money they have earned by selling children.” Read More

Republican Presidential candidate Herman Cain has become a distraction in the race, GOP Congressman Allen West told the Morning Majority. Pregnant Gang Rape Victim to Be Lashed 100 Times After She Delivers Baby

Well, that’s nice. They’re waiting until after the delivery to whip her 100 times.

(MWS)
A 23 year-old Saudi woman will be whipped 100 times for “committing adultery” with a gang of four men and then trying to abort the baby.
The Saudi Gazette reported, via ROP:
A 23-year-old unmarried woman was awarded one-year prison term and 100 lashes for committing adultery and trying to abort the resultant fetus.
The District Court in Jeddah pronounced the verdict on Saturday after the girl confessed that she had a forced sexual intercourse with a man who had offered her a ride. The man, the girl confessed, took her to a rest house, east of Jeddah, where he and four of friends assaulted her all night long.
The girl claimed that she became pregnant soon after and went to King Fahd Hospital for Armed Forces in an attempt to carry out an abortion. She was eight weeks’ pregnant then, the hospital confirmed.
According to the ruling, the woman will be sent to a jail outside Jeddah to spend her time and will be lashed after delivery of her baby who will take the mother’s last name.

Gingrich slams Obama for early "attack ads"

EGYPT: You get the IslamoFascist government you deserve

“They will ‘fix’ girls who walk around with their hair uncovered.” “They will will ‘fix’ women who wear the wrong clothes,” say bagheads who are voting for The Muslim Brotherhood, banned from Egypt during Mubarak’s reign.

How long before these women are stoned to death for disobeying Islam? How long before thieves have their hands cut off? And rape victims are punished but the rapists go free? Like Barack Hussein Obama, the Muslim Brothers are portraying themselves as the face of moderation and unity with respect for differing opinions and faiths. Just as they promised the people of  Iran after the Shah was deposed. Be careful what you wish for. You deserve it.

Romney vs. Gingrich: The Gloves Come Off

With less than five weeks to the first votes being cast in the Republican presidential race, the two main contenders, Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich, are showing signs they are ready to take off the gloves.

Gingrich accused the former Massachusetts governor of being “to the left of Ted Kennedy” and his rival hit back slamming the former House Speaker as “a lifelong politician.”

Most pundits believe that after months in which candidates such as Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry and Herman Cain have jockeyed for the role as the anti-Romney, Gingrich is now the last man standing, and the only one with a realistic chance of snatching the nomination from the long-presumed favorite.

And with the Iowa caucuses set for Jan. 3, and the New Hampshire primary a week later, time is against any other GOP candidate having the chance to close the gap on the two.

Gingrich, who has frequently urged his fellow Republican candidates to attack President Barack Obama rather than each other, was first to sharpen his claws by exploiting Romney’s reputation as a flip-flopper.

"If you run to the left of Teddy Kennedy, it is trickier than trying to run to the right of Newt Gingrich," he told CNN's John King on Monday, referring to Romney's 1994 Senate bid in which he was heavily defeated by Kennedy.

Gingrich’s comments echoed a Democratic National Committee advertisement issued on the same day that labeled Romney as “two men trapped within one body” because of his shifting position on issues including abortion, the stimulus, healthcare, immigration, climate change, union-busting, tax increases, gun-control and even whether he supports the policies of Ronald Reagan.

Gingrich said attacks on Romney for being inconsistent are “legitimate.”

Earlier the same day Gingrich called himself “a solid conservative alternative” to Romney. “I don’t claim to be the perfect candidate. I just claim to be more conservative than Mitt Romney,” he said during a radio interview in South Carolina. “I wouldn't lie to the American people; I wouldn't switch my position for political reason.”

Romney finally hit back on Tuesday as he painted Gingrich as having no experience outside of politics.

“To get President Obama out of office, you’re going to have to bring something to the race that’s different than what he brings,” Romney told Fox News’ Bret Baier. “He’s a lifelong politician.”

Rubbing his point home, Romney said, “Speaker Gingrich is a good man, he and I have very different backgrounds. He spent his last 30 or 40 years in Washington. I spent my career in the private sector, and I think that’s what the country needs right now."

Hey Mittens, Newt's Gonna Beat You Like A Throw Rug. Save Yourself The Whooping, Withdraw; Endorse Newt !!!

Obama/Holder Seal/Clean Court Records of Border Agent Brian Terry's Murder--WTF !!!

On December 14, 2010 in Peck Canyon, northwest of Nogales, Arizona, Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was shot dead by a group of illegal border entrants who refused commands to drop their weapons after they were confronted by US agents. The illegals murdered Terry with a gun connected to a failed federal experiment that allowed firearms to be smuggled into Mexico. The family of slain border agent Brian Terry blamed Eric Holder for their son’s death in a recent interview.

Now the Obama Administration has sealed the court records on Agent Terry’s murder.
Judicial Watch reported:
The Obama Administration has abruptly sealed court records containing alarming details of how Mexican drug smugglers murdered a U.S. Border patrol agent with a gun connected to a failed federal experiment that allowed firearms to be smuggled into Mexico.
This means information will now be kept from the public as well as the media.Could this be a cover-up on the part of the “most transparent” administration in history? After all, the rifle used to kill the federal agent (Brian Terry) last December in Arizona’s Peck Canyon was part of the now infamous Operation Fast and Furious. Conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the disastrous scheme allowed guns to be smuggled into Mexico so they could eventually be traced to drug cartels.
Instead, federal law enforcement officers lost track of more than 1,000 guns which have been used in numerous crimes. In Terry’s case, five illegal immigrants armed with at least two semi-automatic assault rifles were hunting for U.S. Border Patrol agents near a desert watering hole just north of the Arizona-Mexico border when a firefight erupted and Terry got hit.
We know this only because Washington D.C.’s conservative newspaper got ahold of the court documents before the government suddenly made them off limits. The now-sealed federal grand jury indictment tells the frightening story of how Terry was gunned down by Mexican drug smugglers patrolling the rugged desert with the intent to “intentionally and forcibly assault” Border Patrol agents.

Poinsettias are so pretty!

Hi Everyone! I have a really great polish for today! Poinsettia is a gorgeous red jellyish polish. This is part of the China Glaze Holiday Collection. I know lots of holiday collections have reds in them, but this one is a little unique because of it's formula. It's not a creme, but I don't think it's a fully jelly polish either.  This is 2 medium coats over 3 thin coats of Orchid English Tea Time. (You can see that post here.  This will work great as a base polish to help hide visible nail lines) Enjoy!

Newt Beats Obama 45/43 in Rasmussen's Latest Poll---YES !!!

Wednesday, November 30, 2011
The Newt Gingrich surge has moved him to the top of the polls in Iowa, big gains in New Hampshire and now a two-point edge over President Obama in a hypothetical general election match-up.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters finds Gingrich attracting 45% of the vote while President Obama earns support from 43%. Six percent (6%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Last week,  Gingrich trailed the president by six. Two weeks ago,  he was down by twelve. Earlier in the year, both Rick Perry and Herman Cain followed a similar path to take a slight lead over the president. However, in both cases, their time as frontrunners quickly came to an end. Neither man led the president more than a single time in a Rasmussen Reports poll. It remains to be seen whether Gingrich follows that path or is able to retain his status as the leading alternative to former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.
Romney is the only GOP candidate who has been ahead of the president more than a single time. For most of the year, he and President Obama were essentially even. Currently, Romney trails Obama by six.

Gingrich Rips WaPo: Media 'Would Rather Worry About Rumors About Conservatives Than Facts About President'

On Monday, NewsBusters broke a story about Washington Post blogger Aaron Blake using Twitter to dig up dirt on Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich.

On Tuesday, the former House Speaker spoke to St. Louis radio host and Big Journalism editor Dana Loesch about this saying, "It’s a little sad to see a paper the quality of the Washington Post stoop to...the National Enquirer approach to life" adding they "would rather worry about rumors about conservatives than facts about the President" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

DANA LOESCH: I’ve noticed that Aaron Blake who writes for the Washington Post’s The Fix, it’s a political blog, has reached out to readers asking them to crowd-source your past to see if they can get some skeletons in your closet. Have you heard of this?

NEWT GINGRICH: I haven’t heard of it. I’m not at all surprised. I think that you have to expect that kind of trash. I’ve been honest about the fact that there are things I did in my past that I’ve had to go to G-d and seek forgiveness for and seek reconciliation. And if this guy manages to find some magic example, I will stipulate it. I have a very good marriage with Callista. We have, we’re very, very close and have been now for well over a decade. I’m very close to my two daughters and my son-in-laws, and I’m very close to my grandchildren. And I’ll let people look at who I am and how I live today and decide whether or not I’m the person they want to have as president.

It’s a little sad to see a paper the quality of the Washington Post stoop to that, which used to be the National Enquirer approach to life. But that’s just the nature of where we are today.

LOESCH: And I wish that they would crowd-source the White House visitor logs the way that they’re going after individuals like you or Sarah Palin.

GINGRICH: I wish they would crowd-source to discover what he did at Columbia University, and I wish they would crowd-source to figure out what he did with Saul Alinsky’s ideas on the South Side of Chicago.

LOESCH: Exactly.

GINGRICH: Nobody’s ever explored exactly, the community organizer did not mean boys and girls clubs. It meant Saul Alinsky radicalism.

LOESCH: Yeah, it absolutely did.

GINGRICH: But the news media’s never quite found itself as excited about the facts about Barack Obama. Would rather worry about rumors about conservatives than facts about the President.

Gingrich Soars in Florida Poll !!!

A new poll shows Newt Gingrich is favored to take Florida's Jan. 31 Republican presidential primary, apparently the beneficiary of conservative voters leaving Herman Cain.

The InsiderAdvantage/Majority Opinion Research poll conducted Tuesday night for the Florida Times-Union shows Gingrich leading the pack by 41 percent.

The survey of 513 registered voters shows Gingrich has as much support as the next four candidates combined. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percent.

The Times-Union poll was the first in Florida since an Atlanta woman made claims that Cain had a casual 13-year affair with her. Cain drops to third place with 13 percent, behind Mitt Romney’s 17. No other candidate has double digits.

“I am totally shocked by these numbers,” pollster Matt Towery, CEO of InsiderAdvantage told The Times-Union. “Newt Gingrich is winning nearly 50 percent of the independent vote, but more importantly, the Republican vote which makes up the vast majority of the Florida Republican primary.”

Cain holds just 12 percent of Republicans and only 3 percent of independents.
