Film Company Owned By Obama Supporter Promotes Violence Against Bristol Palin
In February of this year, Magnolia Pictures' owner Mark Cuban (pictured above shaking the President's hand) attended a $30,000-a-plate fundraiser for President Obama where Cuban and our "first gay President" are reported to have "embraced warmly."
Less than three months later, and after the whole War on Women fiasco blew up in the White House's face, Magnet Releasing, a genre label owned by Cuban's Magnolia Pictures, published a request that readers "get out your guns" against Governor Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol:
-
The phrase "get out your guns" refers to Magnet Releasing's "God Bless America," a new film by Bobcat Goldthwait that Critic Speak describes this way:
Granted, this ['get out your guns' comment] was consistent with the tone of the film it was designed to promote, Bobcat Goldthwait’s God Bless America. We here at Critic Speak found the movie’s militant brand satire, which effectively endorses the full-scale execution of brainless pop-culture phenoms and social conservatives, to be repugnant[.] Read More
Former Obama Adviser, Steven Rattner, Calls Obama Camp’s Bain Ad ‘Unfair’
Steven Rattner, a former Obama administration adviser on the auto bailout, said in a television interview Monday morning that the new Obama campaign ad attacking Mitt Romney’s record at Bain Capital is “unfair.”
Rattner, who was known as President Obama’s “car czar,” also said that job losses — like the ones featured the new ad — while unfortunate, are “part of capitalism.”
“Look, Mitt Romney made a mistake ever talking about the fact that he created 100,000 jobs,” Rattner said in an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “Bain Capital’s responsibility was not to create 100,000 jobs or some other number. It was to create profits for its investors — most of whom were pension funds and endowments and foundations.”
The Obama campaign’s new ad tells the story of a Kansas City steel company, purchased by Bain in 1993, that subsequently went bankrupt.
One of workers who lost their job at the plant, Joe Soptic, appears in the ad: “It makes me angry,” he says. “Those guys were all rich. They all had more money than they’ll ever spend, yet they didn’t have the money to take care of the very people that made the money for them.”
But Rattner insisted that he portrayal of the private equity firm that Romney ran was skewed in Obama’s ad.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio Gives First Interview Since Being Sued by Obama Justice Department ~ Video
“They caught the wrong Sheriff on this matter.”
Those seven words should have sent the message loud and clear to the Obama administration that they are in for a tough, and potentially embarrassing fight against Arizona’s famously tough Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Arpaio, who has attained the status of folk hero among the pro-border enforcement crowd, appeared on the Mike Broomhead show today in his first interview since being officially served with a suit by the Obama administration’s Justice Department. Book: Obama Team Tried to Pay Rev. Wright $150K to Keep Quiet Until After 2008 Election
“The Amateur,” author Edward Klein’s unauthorized biography of Obama, has been making waves with explosive claims that former President Bill Clinton called Obama an “amateur” and encouraged Hillary Clinton to quit her secretary of state post and run against him in 2012.
The New York Post on Sunday published a conversation between Wright and Klein, the latest tidbit to come from the book. In it, Wright said once his fiery sermons surfaced during the 2008 campaign, he received an email asking him not to preach until after November. More
Shameful: White House's Mother's Day Card with ObamaCare pitch !!!
Have they no sense of decency ???
Not even Mother's Day could be shielded from election-year politics.
The White House on Sunday released specially tailored e-cards touting the benefits for moms of the federal health care overhaul, urging people to send the card around to "show some appreciation for the mom in your life."
The e-card, posted on the White House website for any and all to download and share, is titled: "Happy Mother's Day From The Affordable Care Act."
It goes on to say, "Being a mom isn't a pre-existing condition."
The text of the card lists a string of stats about how women benefit under the health care overhaul, which is now the subject of a Supreme Court challenge. The card says that while insurers before the overhaul could "deny coverage for women with pre-existing conditions like breast cancer or pregnancy," they will be prohibited from denying coverage over any pre-existing condition starting in 2014.
The card also cites the millions of women who gained "expanded preventive services with no cost-sharing" last year.

Megyn Kelly Panel On Obama Campaign Targeting Private Citizens Descends Into Screaming Match
On Friday’s America Live with Megyn Kelly, conservative radio host Chris Plante and former Democratic aide to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) Christopher Hahn engaged in a heated debate over the allegation that the Obama campaign is attempting to intimidate large-dollar Mitt Romney donors. The panel discussion quickly decayed into a shouting match between the two, as both debated whether the Obama or Romney camps were the worst offenders of targeting private donors. More

This Is Not a Joke: Government Issues Study of a Study About Studies
I’LL HAVE TO STUDY THIS . . . . .
The Pentagon was inundated with so many studies in 2010 that it commissioned a study to determined how much it cost to produce all those studies.
Now the Government Accountability Office has reviewed the Pentagon’s study and concluded in a report this week that it’s a flop.
The study of a study of studies began in 2010 when Defense Secretary Robert Gates complained that his department was “awash in taskings for reports and studies.” He wanted to know how much they cost. More

Rubio calls Obama gay marriage announcement a distraction from economy, effort to divide [AUDIO]
On Laura Ingraham’s radio show on Thursday, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio reacted to President Barack Obama’s sudden personal support for same-sex marriage, announced in an interview on Wednesday with ABC’s Robin Roberts.
According to Florida’s Republican junior U.S. senator, the economy should be the focus, but there seems to be a different issue every week brought to the forefront by the president and his party.
“Every single week, whether it’s the student loan issue this week, or this gay marriage issue — next week it’ll be something else; every single week they will trot out another issue to avoid having to talk about the economy because this election is about the economy, which is what it should be about. He can’t win and they know that. They’re smart enough to know that.”

Obama raising Hollywood $$$ on heels of gay marriage endorsement
President Obama and his aides claim they're just not sure how his endorsement of same-sex marriage will play politically.
But his campaign is pushing awfully hard to make sure it plays well.
The campaign, within hours of Obama's interview in which he declared for the first time his support for gay marriage, blasted out a fundraising email to supporters. At dawn on Thursday, the campaign released a web video highlighting the president's new-found stance and lambasting likely GOP opponent Mitt Romney's opposition to gay marriage.
Now the president is preparing to head to a sold-out fundraiser Thursday evening at George Clooney's home in Los Angeles -- where he is sure to be embraced by well-heeled celebrity donors.
Hollywood is home to some of the most high-profile backers of gay marriage and the 150 donors who are paying $40,000 to attend Clooney's dinner Thursday night will no doubt feel newly invigorated by Obama's watershed announcement the day before.
Overall, the dinner is expected to raise close to $15 million -- about $6 million from the guests and the rest from a campaign contest for small-dollar donors, the winners of which get to participate in the dinner. It is an unprecedented amount for a single event. And it means that in one single evening the Obama camp and the Democratic Party will collect more than Romney has amassed in his best single month of fundraising.

Obama declares support for gay marriage !!!
President Obama today announced that he now supports same-sex marriage, reversing his longstanding opposition amid growing pressure from the Democratic base and even his own vice president.
In an interview with ABC News’ Robin Roberts, the president described his thought process as an “evolution” that led him to this place, based on conversations with his own staff members, openly gay and lesbian service members, and conversations with his wife and own daughters.
"I have to tell you that over the course of several years as I have talked to friends and family and neighbors when I think about members of my own staff who are in incredibly committed monogamous relationships, same-sex relationships, who are raising kids together, when I think about those soldiers or airmen or marines or sailors who are out there fighting on my behalf and yet feel constrained, even now that Don't Ask Don't Tell is gone, because they are not able to commit themselves in a marriage, at a certain point I’ve just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married,” Obama told Roberts, in an interview to appear on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Thursday. Excerpts of the interview will air tonight on ABC’s “World News with Diane Sawyer.”
The president stressed that this is a personal position, and that he still supports the concept of states deciding the issue on their own. But he said he’s confident that more Americans will grow comfortable with gays and lesbians getting married, citing his own daughters’ comfort with the concept.
“It’s interesting, some of this is also generational,” the president continued. “You know when I go to college campuses, sometimes I talk to college Republicans who think that I have terrible policies on the economy, on foreign policy, but are very clear that when it comes to same sex equality or, you know, sexual orientation that they believe in equality. They are much more comfortable with it. You know, Malia and Sasha, they have friends whose parents are same-sex couples. There have been times where Michelle and I have been sitting around the dinner table and we’re talking about their friends and their parents and Malia and Sasha, it wouldn’t dawn on them that somehow their friends’ parents would be treated differently. It doesn’t make sense to them and frankly, that’s the kind of thing that prompts a change in perspective.” SEE Video Here

Ouch, That’s gotta hurt !!! Federal inmate makes strong showing against Obama in West Virginia primary !!!
CHARLESTON, West Virginia – Just how unpopular is President Barack Obama in some parts of the country? Enough that a man in prison in Texas is getting 4 out of 10 votes in West Virginia's Democratic presidential primary.
The inmate, Keith Judd, is serving time at the Beaumont Federal Correctional Institution in Texas for making threats at the University of New Mexico in 1999. With 93 percent of precincts reporting, Obama was receiving just under 60 percent of the vote to Judd's 40 percent.
For some West Virginia Democrats, simply running against Obama is enough to get Judd votes.
"I voted against Obama," said Ronnie Brown, a 43-year-old electrician from Cross Lanes who called himself a conservative Democrat. "I don't like him. He didn't carry the state before and I'm not going to let him carry it again."
When asked which presidential candidate he voted for, Brown said, "That guy out of Texas."
Judd was able to get on the state ballot by paying a $2,500 fee and filing a form known as a notarized certification of announcement, said Jake Glance, a spokesman for the Secretary of State's office.
Attracting at least 15 percent of the vote would normally qualify a candidate for a delegate to the Democratic National Convention. But state Democratic Party Executive Director Derek Scarbro said no one has filed to be a delegate for Judd. The state party also believes that Judd has failed to file paperwork required of presidential candidates, but officials continue to research the matter, Scarbro said.
Voters in other conservative states showed their displeasure with Obama in Democratic primaries last March.
In Oklahoma, anti-abortion protester Randall Terry got 18 percent of the primary vote. A lawyer from Tennessee, John Wolfe, pulled nearly 18,000 votes in the Louisiana primary. In Alabama, 18 percent of Democratic voters chose "uncommitted" in the primary rather than vote for Obama. In Tuesday's North Carolina primary, 21 percent of Democratic voters marked "no preference."

Exclusive Inside Look at GOP's Anti-Obama War Room ~ VIDEO
While Republican candidates battled it out in their primaries and caucuses, the Republican National Committee (RNC) was preparing for the general election battle against President Obama. Political Punch got an exclusive look inside the committee's anti-Obama attack machine, and the space they call "the war room."
"We said from the very beginning ... we were going to get this building in fighting shape for the Republican nominee, and part of that - in today's news cycle, 24/7 - is to be on things instantly," said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. That means having transcripts of all President Obama's speeches at the ready, and responding immediately any time there is a gaffe by a the president, vice president, or a Democratic operative.
Attack plans are hatched daily in a morning meeting, where a team headed by RNC Communications Director Sean Spicer constantly maps and monitors every move of the president and his surrogates. In the "war room," a group of young workers are practically glued to their computer screens, waiting to catch the next Hilary Rosen moment.
"We - 24/7 - monitor print news, online news, TV, radio, Twitter, Facebook," said Spicer. We try to capture everything that's going on in real time so that we know what's happening ... and we're able to respond within seconds."
"Definitely, I can say at one time or another, everyone in this room has caught something," said Mike Danylak, Director of the War Room (and yes, that is his official title).
Check out this week's episode to watch the RNC's warriors in action.
Perry accuses Obama administration of fueling 'surge' in illegal immigrant children
Texas Gov. Rick Perry is accusing the Obama administration of "perpetuating" a recent "surge" in illegal immigrant children who are crossing into the U.S. from Mexico and Central America without their parents and often falling straight into government care.
In a letter obtained by Fox News, Perry wrote to President Obama on Friday citing stats that show more than 5,200 "unaccompanied minors" were taken into U.S. custody in the first six months of the fiscal year -- a more than 90 percent increase compared with the same period a year ago.
Perry, a former Republican presidential candidate, claimed that a failure to immediately send them back is "perpetuating the problem" by encouraging other children and teenagers to make the trek. He said the journey is dangerous for the children, and their flow into the United States is a burden on his state and others. The governor urged the administration to eliminate the "temptation" to make "this tragic and illegal migration."
"Every day of delay risks more lives," Perry wrote. "Every child allowed to remain encourages hundreds more to attempt the journey. Our country can no longer provide the temptation for these unaccompanied minors to engage in this tragic and illegal migration. To end it, the federal government must stop new arrivals at the border, repatriate those already here and prevent and discourage others."
It's unclear exactly how many are being sent back. Perry claimed that an administration member "indicated" fewer than 10 percent are being deported. The children reportedly are coming into the U.S. for a range of reasons, looking for jobs as well as family members in the States.
