Authorities are investigating the theft of a truck containing ($200,000) presidential seals, podiums and sound equipment for President Barack Obama's bus tour of Virginia and North Carolina.

NOT A JOKE: Obama Schedules Another Bus Tour

A White House official says President Barack Obama is planning a bus tour through the politically important states of North Carolina and Virginia later this month to push for his jobs plan.

The trip is scheduled for Oct. 17-19, according to the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity ahead of a formal announcement.

An AP reporter said that Obama might have ridden these expensive buses only one mile at each stop. Therefore, it wasn’t really a “BUS TOUR”! Obamaspent most of the “BUS TOUR” on an airplane traveling between stops. Itlooks like Obama has scammed the American people again……..with the help of the liberal media. It’s no damn telling just how much this “show” cost the American taxpayer.

He FLYS into an airport somewhere in the midwest, hops into a brand new 1.1 Million $ bus, paid for by you and me, for a “bus tour” ‘around the midwest’, and after an hour or so, gets driven back to the airport for ANOTHER FLIGHT, lands at another airport where another 1.1 Million $ brand new black bus is waiting for him… and repeats all that until his midwest bus‘tour’ is done?? Oh yes……and THEN he leaves on a 12 day vacation to Martha’s Vineyard…….to REST UP from this campaign bus tour!
And don’t forget……..those brand new shiny black buses aren’t DRIVEN to the location where they meet Obama. Those buses are loaded up on one or more C-17s. Then, they are flown to the destination ahead of AirForce- AND!…….this is REPEATED FOR EVERY CAMPAIGN STOP. On this ‘bus tour’, the Prez will lecture the ‘little people’ on how they need to live within their means and cut-back! Remember when very recently Obama told that family man to GO BUY A HYBRID VAN when he said he couldn’t afford to fill up his truck???? Obama’s ‘carbon footprint’ must be as large as most cities by now.
All of this on the taxpayer’s dime…..But remember, this is NOT a campaign trip – it is “Meet with the people” trip only! So that the DNC does NOT pay a cent for all of this.

Obama's 'Bus Force One' Rolls Through U.S. > Secret Service says $1.1 million bus provides security, savings.

If the presidential limousine is known as "the beast," the new official tour bus could be called "the behemoth."

The Secret Service is trucking President Obama and his senior staff through the Midwest this week on an imposing jet-black coach, outfitted with top-notch security and communications equipment to keep its occupants safe.

The White House says the $1.1 million bus, and its accompanying motorcade of more than two dozen vehicles, allows the president to visit "real people in real places" that wouldn't otherwise be easily accessible. Obama began the three-day trip in Minnesota and ends in Illinois Wednesday.

Neither the Secret Service nor Hemphill Brothers Co., the Nashville, Tenn.-based company that built the bus, would comment on the "security additions" or what it's like inside as it rumbles along rural roads.

But some of Obama's travel companions, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the interior is "subdued," and that the president has been using the front seating area, which has two chairs and a sofa, for some parts of his travel and two other groupings of four chairs farther back in the bus for others. WASHINGTON -- President Obama is barnstorming the heartland to boost U.S. jobs in a taxpayer-financed luxury bus the government had custom built -- in Canada, The New York Post has learned. 

The $1.1 million vehicle, one of two that Quebec-based Prevost sold the government, has been tricked out by the Secret Service with state-of-the-art security features and creature comforts. 

It's a VIP H3-45 model, the company's top of the line, and is used by major traveling rock bands. 

"That's the more luxurious model," Christine Garant of Prevost told The Post. 

"When we have the Country Music Awards, we sometimes see a lot of them," she said, noting that Kid Rock, David Lee Roth and Kenny Rogers also have owned them. 

Obama's new ride is equipped to carry all the baggage a president needs -- including the "football" that allows him to remotely control U.S. nuclear weapons.
