Teachers 'watched boy, 6, slip on snow then forced him to crawl back to class with a broken leg'
A six-year-old who slipped on snow was forced by teachers to crawl 300 feet back to class with a broken leg and concussion, his parents claim.
Staff at the Skokie, Illinois kindergarten then allegedly failed to call an ambulance, leaving the boy's mother to take him to the hospital.
Rahul Chandani fell on a mound of snow in the playground and smacked his head two years ago, according to a lawsuit filed by his parents.

The youngster suffered a fractured tibia and was left with a lump on his head 'the size of a tennis ball', his parents, Pritam and Priya, said.
The suit, filed on Tuesday, adds he had complained of dizziness but the school did not pay him proper medical attention and did not have a wheelchair to take him back to the building.
When she arrived to collect him, Mrs Chandani saw her son crawling and immediately took him to the hospital, she said.
'His teacher told him: "You’re a big boy — I can’t carry you,"' she told the Chicago Sun-Times.
'She told him to walk back, but his leg was broken so he fell again and then had to crawl at least 200-300 feet back to the school building.
'If someone did that to me as an adult, I’d slap them.'

The boy missed six weeks of lessons at Devonshire Elementary School, had trouble sleeping and was 'emotionally scarred' by the incident, according to the Sun-Times.
His mother added that the accident happened on an icy patch near some swings – and was uncertain why the teachers had made the children walk across the area.
‘You can’t expect 6-year-olds to be careful in a place like that,’ she said.
The suit, filed in a Cook County circuit court, seeks in excess of $200,000 in damages.

'It sounds like a bomb is going off': Illinois town evacuated as derailed tanker train cars explode !!!
Fiery train wreck: A freight train derailment sent flames into the air and forced the evacuation of the town of Tiskilwa
Crash scene: Tiskilwa is a small town of about 800 people located about 115 miles west of Chicago
A fiery freight train derailment in north-central Illinois has forced authorities to evacuate an entire town as massive explosions are heard in the area.
The Bureau County sheriff's office says the train derailed early Friday in the town of Tiskilwa.
Capt. Steve Haywood of the Ottawa Fire Department says the train's tanker cars were carrying ethanol being shipped by Decatur-based corn processor Archer Daniels Midland.

Witnesses have reported hearing explosions.
Capt Haywood told the Tribune that at least six of the 112 freight train cars were on fire, and officials are fearful of liquid vapour explosions.
Many of the town's residents were holing up inside the Indian Valley Inn restaurant.
The owner, Mike McComber, told the Chicago Tribune: 'It's a mess. A quarter to a half mile of cars derailed. Many of them are on fire.'
Mr McComber added: 'Every time one of them explodes, it sounds like a bomb is going off. Three have gone off so far.'
Amanda Knight told the Chicago Sun-Times that the train derailed about 500 feet from her home.
She said: 'There's a lot of fire and big flames. It sounds like a jet coming over the town. That's all I can compare it to.'
There's no word yet on any injuries.
Authorities say the town's evacuees are being taken to Princeton High School.
The train was operated by Iowa Interstate Railroad. A dispatcher with the railroad said company officials were headed to the scene Friday.
Tiskilwa is a village of about 800 people that's located about 100 miles west of Chicago.
