Amethysts, Diamonds, and Gold! (pic heavy!)

Hello! I have a little update to yesterdays Amethyst post.  I decided it needed a little something.  I added a layer of Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in Glass Slipper and Essie As Gold as it Gets. When I did this I alternated which ones were layered first (pinky, middle, and thumb had Glass Slipper first, ring and index had GAIG), then went back and layered the other.  I liked the way it came out, but I couldn't leave well enough alone so I added Hard Candy Matte-ly In Love.  I liked this even better! Enjoy!

Beetle!

Hi Everyone! Today I have one of my recent 2:45 AM Wal-Mart purchases to show you! This is Hard Candy "Beetle".  This was kind of hard to capture in pictures, but it's a really fun color! It's always changing in different lights.  It changes from a pink, to greenish yellow, to almost a purple.This is the only polish I have from this brand, but so far so good.  It was a little thin, this is three coats, and in certain lights I can still see a visible nail line.  I probably could have gone with 4, but this works for me.   It's Awesome!  Enjoy!

My Subtle Hello to Halloween......and a little haul!

Hi Everyone! Hope you are all having a great weekend! This post is a little long today, but lots of good pictures! So this is my start to my Halloween manicures!!! I used some polish from my little haul which I will tell you about further in the post! This is Pure Ice "Kiss Me Here", with Hard Candy "Matte-ly In Love" topcoat.  On my ring finger I added a little purple spider sticker from my Kiss Halloween nail stickers.  I like how this turned out, but I wish the sticker would stick down a little more.  Onto the pictures!

Now onto the little haul.  So my fiance and I went to Walmart at about 2:45 AM.  We are on a totally different schedule b/c of his work schedule.  Anyways, while he parused man stuff I checked out the polish section.  This particular Walmart didn't really have much in the way of Halloween polish.  I did see the Pure Ice "Kiss Me Here", and also "Cheating".  Then I turned around and saw the Hard Candy section.  I found a "Matte-ly In Love" topcoat and this really awesome polish called "Beetle".

(Not sure where Pure Ice gets their names!)
