Former Vice President Dick Cheney is praising Newt Gingrich as “somebody who has a wealth of experience” and who should not be underestimated.
Asked on CBS’s “The Early Show” on Tuesday why Gingrich hasn’t gotten the full-throated support of congressional leaders like Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) and Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), Cheney said the Republican front-runner has a lot going for him.
